Frozen In Denial: Death and Dying and the Substance Abuser

This course will show the substance abuse counselor how to help clients deal with the death of a loved one by helping them avoid denial and enter the grieving process successfully. The strategies contained in the course will focus on helping the client in recovery take concrete steps to avoid relapse before, during, and after the funeral.
